Hello! My name is Christine Poh and I am an Interaction Designer.

I am a recent graduate of Simon Fraser University’s School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interaction Design. I am currently seeking employment in the field of Interaction Design and User Experience. This site houses a selection of projects related to design that I have completed at SIAT and at Research In Motion (RIM).

In 2008, I worked at Research In Motion as a User Experience Design Associate. This was a one year co-op term, and I was able to work along side the Interaction Designers on the User Experience Design team. I was also given the responsibility to lead projects from time to time and arrange and direct meetings and presentations.

In 2006, I was selected amongst my peers as 1 of 13 students to participate in the Italia Design Field School. As a group, we researched the Italian History and Italian Design before as a part of an intensive 4-week course prior to traveling to Italy. This was followed by an 8-week in-field study through Rome, Tuscany, Florence and Milan where we continued researching Italian history and design as well as interviewing 13 prominent Italian Architects and Designers. The end result of our research and studies was a comprehensive housing website and 4 papers on the state of Italian Design.
